Got a late start today. Some pretty riding in the morning!
Started out feeling strong and enjoyed some great views of the
river on our way to Shephardstown. Had a nice lunch in town an
dsaw a very cool bee keeping set-up.
Rolled on with Jellystone as our goal. We hit some washed out road in the 40-50 mile marker areas including some hard to peddle over sand. After a lock house we ran into the couple from TN again! We road on a really pretty section right on the water and then hit a tough detour with some walking up inclines and some rolling blacktop. Our last few miles brought us through some swampy spots with lots of bugs! We missed our exit for Williamsport at first, but still made it to the park with time to swim in the lazy river. We did some laundry and chilled and watched some TV. Big day tomorrow! |
